Our children actually begged to play this game over and over thus grounding state recognition and capitals into their heads, without them realizing it! We introduced this game after our kids were familiar with a number of states. With our children, we turned it into a fast paced game where we kept score as they raced to name not only the state, but the capital also. This can be quite a challenge for anyone, but our kids loved it and it added yet another dimension to learning geography.
